PROMPTr is a Chrome extension that helps users refine and optimize their prompts with AI. We value your privacy and want to be transparent about how your data is handled.

• User Prompts: When you use PROMPTr, the text you enter is sent securely to the Groq API for refinement.
• Local Storage: Your prompt history (last 5 prompts) and settings (such as dark mode) are stored only on your device using Chrome storage.
• No Personal Data: We do not collect personal information, login credentials, or any other identifying data.

How We Use Information

• Prompt Refinement: User prompts are transmitted to the Groq API in order to return improved prompt suggestions.
• Extension Features: History and templates are stored locally to enhance your user experience.

Data Sharing

PROMPTr does not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. The only external service involved is the Groq API, which receives the prompts you enter for the purpose of refinement.

User Control

• You may clear your local prompt history at any time by removing extension data in Chrome.
• Uninstalling the extension will remove all locally stored information.

Security

All communications with the Groq API are made over secure HTTPS. We do not store or log your prompts on our own servers.
