        The Short Version: We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, browsing history, or screenshots. Everything happens locally on your computer.
    

1. Data Collection & Processing

Screenshot Beautifier Pro processes all images locally within your browser. When you capture a screenshot or paste an image, the data is stored temporarily in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) so the editor can access it. We never upload your images to our servers or any third-party cloud services.

2. Permissions Usage

To provide its core features, the extension requires the following permissions:

activeTab/tabs: Used solely to capture the visual contents of the page you are viewing when you click "Capture."
storage: Used to temporarily save the image data so it can be passed to the editor tab.
scripting: Used to display the selection box when you choose "Region Capture."
clipboardRead: Used only when you manually click the "Paste" button to import an image from your clipboard.

3. Third-Party Services

The extension does not use any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) or tracking pixels. We have no way of knowing who is using the extension or what pages they are capturing.

4. Data Security

Since no data is ever transmitted to a server, your screenshots are as secure as your local machine. No account creation is required to use this extension.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
